Uninstall Using the Agent Removal Tool

The Agent Removal Tool is designed to fully remove the MSP Filtering Agent from your system. Follow these steps to use it:

  1. Download the Removal Tool: Obtain the latest version of the Agent Removal Tool from the Portal: https://portal.zorustech.com/downloads

  2. Execute the Tool: Run the downloaded .exe file on the target system. You may be prompted for an uninstall password. If required, enter the password to proceed with the removal process.

  3. Follow On-Screen Prompts: The removal tool will guide you through the uninstallation process. Follow any on-screen prompts or instructions to complete the removal.

  4. Confirmation: Once the tool has finished uninstalling the agent, you should receive a confirmation message indicating the successful removal.

Uninstall Windows Agent via RMM Script

For those who prefer automation or need to uninstall the agent from multiple systems simultaneously, you can use an RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) script. Follow these steps:

  1. Access the GitHub Repository: Navigate to the GitHub Repository that contains the Uninstall Script provided by the MSP Filtering Agent provider.

  2. Download the Script: Download the script from the repository to your local machine or RMM tool.

  3. Execute the Script: Deploy the script on the target Windows systems where you wish to uninstall the agent. Ensure that the systems are online and accessible through your RMM tool.

  4. Verification: After script execution, verify that the agent has been successfully uninstalled from each system.
