Kaseya VSA Zorus Agent Deployment

In this guide, we will be showing you how to deploy the Zorus Windows Agent via Kaseya VSA using the provided XML file.

XML Script File

If you're having issues uploading this XML file, please follow the instructions on Kaseya's KB for how to upload scripts here.

Important Information:

- The Windows Agent can be installed on Windows 8, 8.1, Windows 10, & Windows 11

- To ensure complete functionality of the agent, Port 7789 must be allowed outbound in your firewall if you have an outbound filtering policy.

Step 1. Download the XML script from the link at the top of this article. The token will prompt when you run the procedure in Kaseya.

Step 2. Now, you'll need to upload the XML script file. Click on the "Agent Procedures" tab in the left sidebar. From there, click "Schedule/Create" and then click your procedures folder. You should now see a button appear that says "Import Folder/Procedure". Click on this to bring up the upload dialog box.

click import

Now simply click the Camera icon so you can select the XML file you downloaded earlier.

choose xml file

After selecting the XML file, click "Save" and the file will upload as a new procedure.

Step 3. After uploading the procedure, select the endpoints you'd like to install on and run it. You'll then be prompted to enter your Zorus deployment token which is generated in the Zorus Portal for that specific customer. After confirming the token, the agent will silently deploy to those selected endpoints over the next few minutes.
