Moving Endpoints to a Different Portal Customer

This is a quick guide to show you how to move an already installed endpoint from one Customer or Group to another. This will prevent you from having to uninstall and reinstall existing endpoints via your RMM.

Before proceeding, be sure to delete the endpoint you want to move from the current portal customer it's installed in. This ensures the agent will be ready to accept a new token when you follow the steps below.

Step 1. Open an Admin level command prompt and enter the following command: cd C:\Users\user\ This will put you in the local user's directory.

Step 2. Next, enter the following including the token you're going to use: "C:\Program Files\Zorus Inc\Archon Agent\Zorus Deployment Agent\ZorusDeploymentAgent.exe" -t token here

Step 3. Once you've done this, the token will register the endpoints Filtering agent to the applicable group/customer. 

Step 4. Restart the Zorus service in services.msc

Please note that you may have to delete the original endpoint from your portal so you don't have a duplicate taking up an extra license under the original customer.
